Elly Henes Champion Women's 5000m - NCAA D1 Outdoor Championships 2021

Elly Henes, a graduate student-athlete at North Carolina State, won the women's 5,000-meter title in 15:28.05 at the NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Henes became the first female athlete in program history to win the 5,000 crown since her mother, Laurie Henes, prevailed in 1991. The championship is also the third in the event for the Wolfpack, including Betty Jo Springs in 1983. More videos |
