North Carolina junior Nicole Greene placed second in the women's high jump final with a first-attempt clearance at 6-1.50 (1.87m), but fell in a jumpoff against Texas Tech senior Zarriea Willis. Greene, who captured the 2018 indoor national title in a jumpoff against Cincinnati's Loretta Blaut, missed on her first try at 6-2.75 (1.90m) in the elimination phase, before Willis cleared 6-2 (1.88m) in the second elimination round to secure the title.
