Stanford freshman Alyssa Jones set an American Under-20 record in the women's long jump with her fourth-round mark of 22-6.25 (6.86m) to place second at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas. Jones eclipsed the 2015 mark of 22-5 (6.83m) achieved by national high school record holder Kate Hall.
