EUGENE, Ore. – Season tickets for the 2014 Oregon track and field season and all-session passes for the 2014 NCAA Track & Field Championships will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Thursday.

Tickets for the 2014 Prefontaine Classic, as well as all-session and weekend passports for the IAAF World Junior Championships will also go on sale Thursday.

Tickets will be available on line at goducks.com/tracktickets, on the phone at 1-800-WEBFOOT or in person at the ticket office located in the Moshofsky Center.

The University is offering a number of pricing options for the 2014 regular season, with plans starting as low as $45 for child and senior general admission season tickets.

The 2014 regular season features the Oregon Preview on March 22, the Pepsi dual meet with Arizona on April 5, the Oregon Relays April 18-19 and the May 9 Oregon Twilight.

“We put together an exciting schedule that will showcase our team to the Hayward Field faithful,” said head coach Robert Johnson. “Our meets will be very competitive and our student-athletes are always eager to perform at their best in front of the hometown crowd.”
The NCAA Championships return to Hayward Field June 11-14. It will be the 12th time Eugene has hosted the Championships, as TrackTown moves closer to surpassing Chicago, which hosted 13 times in the first half of the last century.

The four-day, all-session ticket prices are $95 for reserved seating, $70 for adult general admission and $40 for youth, student and senior general admission. Additional fees may apply.

The NCAA Championships consist of a streamlined competition schedule each evening with the four days featuring only semifinals or finals.

There are four pricing categories for World Juniors, which will be held in the United States for the first time ever: premium reserved, reserved, adult general admission and general admission senior (62-and-over) and youth (17-and-under).

All-session prices are $175 (premium reserved), $110 (reserved), $67 (adult GA) and $26 (senior, youth GA). The weekend passport prices are $110 (premium reserved), $66 (reserved), $40 (adult GA) and $13 (senior, youth GA).

“We’ve never had a track and field season quite like this before,” said Vin Lananna, UO associate athletic director of Olympic Development and TrackTown USA president.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for our community to come together and show the rest of the world how we welcome and support athletes from around the globe in the place that has come to be known as the spiritual home of the sport in the U.S.”
