Men's 5,000m Oregon's Edward Cheserek, Eric Jenkins, and Will Geoghegan waited to make their move and when they did they were 1-2-3 by Kemoy Campbell of Arkansas was able to catch just Will Geoghegan as Cheserek won in 13:48.67 to 13:48.92 for Jenkins, Campbell was third in13:49.23, and Geoghegan was fourth in 13:49.35.

Men's High Jump - Jacorian Duffield (2.28m, 7-5 3/4) and Bradley Adkins of Texas Tech (2.25m, 7-4 1/2) repeated their 1-2 finish from last year as competitors were affected by a strong wind and difficulty understanding their coaches in the loud atmosphere of Hayward Field

Men's 400m Hurdles - With a strong wind on the backstretch both Michael Stigler and Jordin Andrade charged into the wind. Stigler finished best at 48.84 ahead of Andrade in 49.24

Men's 800m - With a strong wind the 800m went like the 1500m as the runners did not push the pace. With 400m to go Jesse Garn of Binghamton took off and Iowa State's Edward Kemboi followed him. Kemboi passed him with 100m to go and won in 1:49.26, Brannon Kidder of Penn State was second at 1:49.36 and Clayton Murphy was third at 1:49.52

Men;s 400m - It was no surprise that Vernon Norwood would win in 45.10 but unfortunately Deon Lendore (struggling with injury all year) was not able to finish. Oregon's Marcus Chambers inspired the crowd with a 2nd place finish in 45.59 and DJ Zahn of Illinois was third in 45.97

Men's 100m was as advertised but Andre De Grasse of USC and Trayvon Bromell were even after 20m but De Grasse accelerated away and ran 9.75 with a 2.7 m/s aiding wind. Bromell ran 9.88 and Jarion Lawson of Arkansas was third at 9.90 as 5 broke 10

Women's 10,000m - Two major moves (one by Emma Bates and the next by Molly Seidel) threw a wrench into the results and Notre Dame's Molly Seidel won in 33:18.37 as pre-race favorite Dominique Scott of Arkansas finished second in 33:25.81 and Emily Stites of William and Mary was third in 33:26.15 with Ducks Molly Grabill and Waverly Neer fourth and fifth as the first ll finished under 34:00.

Men's Decathlon - Maicel Uibo ran away from Pau Tonneson in the 1500m and ran 4:28.48 to score a pr 8356 points. Pau Tonnesen ran 4:41.77 for another pr and scored 8247 as Dakota Keys tracked Harrison Williams (he was in fourth) and ran 4:29.33 to finish third with 7863 points as Williams ran 4:30.89 and finished fourth with 7806 points.
